Default Before, I pop the tranny off, there's one more thing.

The two engine/tranny brackets underneath the engine, I romved the two bottom bolts on the brackets so I could get the flywheel cover off, do I also need to take off the top ones and pull of the brackets all together? Or just the ones holding on the flywheel cover.

I have a D16Z6 and did not have to remove the flywheel cover. I just unbolted it from the transmission. But that is just my one experince.

Yes, the brackets need to come out too. They hold the tranny to the engine block.
