Yellow Check Engine Light
Okay, I've had this gay light up like for 1 year and a half, It's ALWAYS ON
h: , And even got took to a place so It would get checked and get the engine fixed if there was a problem...
Now, They just connected it with some cheap ass shit and turned the light off.
A month later, Again, the light is on...
Again turned it off, Again it turned on!
And It ALWAYS bothers, and the Honda Civic 98 Manual says it can cause serious motor damage still riding that car with the yellow engine check light.
Can somebody please tell me what is wrong with this civic???
I would really appriciate some help, oh and by the way, My brother has an Acura TL, and the same yellow light popped in, and then he changed the Oil Filter and it went off.
But maybe it's not the same problem in the Civic??

Find a Pep Boys store. They diagnose it for free. I had it in my 98 civic and they diagnosed it for free. I went to some Gulf Gas station near where I live and they were going to charge me $100 just for a 1 min diagnostic!!! All they had to do was plug it in the computer port and then BOOM! the code would be there. So I ended up going to Pep Boys and they did it for free.
P.S. GULF Gas station in Herricks Road, in Long Island NY. Near Nathans...THEY SUCK!!! buncha scammers!

Get a scanner or go to some place where they do it for free.
See what code it is.
Look on any Helms / Chilton's Manual for a feedback on the code.
Dont just go replacing parts, look at what they say about the
code and test everything.
"Low Voltage at o2 sensor" doesnt mean "Replace the o2 Sensor"
Check to see why is getting low voltage.
Capish!
Also, if the Check Engine light is just lit it means you have a
problem with the Emissions. If the light keeps flashing
then it means you have engine misfiring, which is bad.
So just go about doing that...

If the eng light is on always it isnt an 02. it will not be an oil filter. I see hard coding mostly on for that stupid evap thing. they probally reset it cause they dont want to tell you to spend unknown money. replace the canister and live in peace.
