What size rim and tire IYO?
In your opinion which size tire and rim look the best on the civic?
I got my civic with 18'' konig rims...tires 205/35/18 which according to that tire calculator didnt make my speedo too far off at all comming from the 185/65/14 tires stock. The only reason i liked them was because thin sidewall, and less gap between fender and tire without the car being slammed. But it was too much rim for me.
I had 16'' rota c-8s on my gsr and loved them, tire 205/40/16. I hate really any of the 45-50 series...too much sidewall for me. But i believe i would need something like a 225/40/16 to make it decently close with 16'' rims.
Anyway, with that aside, on a civic slightly lowered, which rim size do you prefer, 16 or 17? Rims im going with are either rota grids (the volk look alikes) or c-10's and cant decide between 16 or 17. Im leaning towards 16 a little. 18 is way to big, and id rather run stock then buy aftermarket 15's (not a big JDM fan)

i believe a 205/40 series tire would fit on the 16s without any problem. i wouldnt go with any rim larger then 16, but thats just me....and just about every other person on this website.

I run with 205/45 on my 16's. I like have a little more sidewall to cushion the ride and to protect the rim. My buddy ran 18's on his Tacoma and bent a rim in less then 24 hours.

205/45x16" is the correct size for most Civics. Really cannot tell between a 205/45x16" and a 205/40x16" tire.
