Default why deltagates suck (as if you didnt know already)

as most of you know i got the car tuned at 9psi. the car ran good and would sometimes hit 11 on colder nights. well i installed my blitz dtt dc2 yesterday and took the ride for a ride so ii knew where to set the boost warning light (it reads in bar) and the boost spiked enough to make my map sensor go crazy (i guess around 11.7psi) so i come back to my house and pop the hood figuring i'll just turn it down a little on the wastegate. so i loosen the lock nut and no sooner do i break it loose, the wrench flys out of my hand and the top part of the wastegate goes flying. i never seen anything like this happen before, o well i guess im upgrading sooner than i thought.... i will be ordering a tial 38mm or maby a turbosmart ultra-gate on monday.

Bummer. Those are pieces of shit and that just confirms it.

Hopefully the Tial will work much better for you.

just picked up my tial today after work from slowboy (awsome guys). I also hooked up the turboxs ball and spring boost controller that i thought was screwed up. i couldnt understand why it worked on my friends car and not mine (he's running a tial 35mm and upgraded to a greddy profec b spec 2) turns out it must have just been the old wastegate.

My tial is a 38mm with a .4 bar spring, but i cranked it back up to 10 with the boost controller. i cant beleive the difference it made. the motor is alot smoother coming into boost, and i actually hit full boost quicker. i cant say enough about this turbo timer too, the peak and hold feature really made it easy to set the boost, and i could keep my eyes on the road.

 for tial
 for turboXS ball and spring boost controller
 for blitz DTT DC2

also :thumbup:for slowboy racing for staying open 20 minutes late for me cause i couldnt make it there any sooner after work, and for keeping an inventory of stuff like this so my car wasnt out of commision for a week while i waited for it to come in had i ordered it from anywere else. i know we're not supposed to plug other websites that arn't sponsers (espessially for guys who primarily work on DSM's EVO's and SRT-4's) but i think they deserve it
