H23A = 2.3 non-VTEC (prelude S)

must be a typo.
There was a F20B (Euro Accord Type R) that was similar to the H22 motor. The 2.3L's were never VTEC. Although people have done the 2.3L block mated with the 2.2 VTEC head.

If you have the money, the B18C is the most versatile of the three. It has better aftermarket support than any of the other three as well.
Also, vtec + boost. Need I say more?
