I am running a d15 w/ full exhaust intake and a zex 55 shot I am going on my third bottle no problems with the engine however if I launch hard at al I spin 1st and 2nd I can not get any traction at all Iam on yoko paradas (205/40/17) on the street. From a roll I am ok but I ran last night and could not get a decent launch from a stand still to save my life. should I launch first w/o nitrous at all then shift second and hit the switch. rolling slow in first then flooring it I am ok though... what do you think???? I am going down the track next week ....what do you think I "could" run high 15's???

 

I have a 00 ex 5spd with a 55 shot (zex kit) Here's what i do. Before i start the race i will arm open the red cover for the switch. From the light i'll rev up to 4500 or whatever rpms and let the clutch halfway out. When the light turns green i'll slip the clutch and hit the gas until i hook up. As soon as i hook up i will flip the switch to ARMED and i will already bet at WOT so it'll start spraying (still in first) Just make sure you hook up on the launch and THEN start spraying. I got a 9.96 at the 1/8 which is like a 15.4 so i think u could make it into the high 15's.
