WEll, I was depositing my paycheck today and I was happy as hell because I found out that with my foot to the floor, my throttle body is only opening about 1/4th the way because my cable isn't tensioned ,its not even on the bracket. No wonder my times were 15.75-16. I've never felt my car wide open i guess. Then I look at my temp gauge, it's about 3/4th the way up. I'm like fuck. So my friend says replace your cap, we went and got a new cap. My old one was shot, it clicked when you pressed on it and crunched. So then all seemed well the engine even idled a little cooler the temp was perfect when driving, even slowly. So I drive it home only to let it sit in the driveway for about 5 minutes and it's back up there.

My friend was squeezing my top radiator hose saying something about opening the valve on the thermostat housing or some shit. I didn't quite catch it.
