windsheild blade?

I drive a 96 ex coupe and I noticed the other day that when i want to squirt water on my winsheild that the blades dont come on automaticaly. Is this normal because they did in my 95 accord. I have only had this car for 2 month.

Yup, normal. My blades don't turn on automatically on my 96 Ex.

Mine don't either. I always have to strain to press that difficult little lever down.
