Default jdm d15b vtec

Is a jdm d15b vtec a good z6 replacement? Also are rods in these motor weaker than z6's like other d15's? I will be running 8 psi with a greddy turbo kit/intercooler/ and e-manage. thanks in advance

the z6 is a more common engine, it also has beefier con-rods than the d15b.

might as well get the D15B7 instead of the B8 because it has 30 more hp than the B8.
