Default oil change time

what oil should i use or doesnt it matter? i have no clue what was being used on it before, i just bought the car a month ago with just under 150k miles.. thx

uhh, if is dinosor oil id stick with that, 5-30 should be fine, if its burning oil, u can try a 10-30 would reduce it cause its thicker... umm if theres synthetic in there go with synthetic
im not sure if you want to switch to synthetic or not because of the milage...

5-30 and 10-30...it doesnt matter except that like alias said 10-30 is just thicker..dont go with full synthetic...theres no need to.

at 100xxxk miles i switched to full synthetic, but i changed the oil again twice for 2k miles so one at 1k and another 2k... when i switched and used the 5-30, it did burn a bit so i use 10-30 now and its reduced alot unless i ride vtec alot lol

wow 150k and you already are blowing by. I cannot believe its valve seals, perhaps you need to update your pcv.
