Default Shocks just broke!!!

Ok, I was driving home and all of a sudden I heard a wierd grinding noise... so I pull over and I see that one of my tires are flat. So I go about changing it with the spare only to realize that the spare also looks flat once its on. I'm thinking that this is impossible so I check the original tire for any nails or any kind of leaking of air and I find nothing and the air is still at 30psi!! So what I'm thinking is that that one shock broke so its putting too much pressure on that one tire and making it look flat?? Someone tell me if im wrong?? Because these are still factory shocks with Eibach Sportline springs on them. and another thing is that once I put my springs on like 6 months ago Ive been hearing wierd squeeking sounds whenver I made a u-turn or a sharp type of turn. But I didnt pay any attention to it because I simply didnt know what it was...pretty dumb I guess. But if this is indeed my shocks what kind of decent shocks do you recommend for my Eibach sportlines??

Try looking at the shock and see if any of the oil is leaking. If its leaking its blown.

I'd say Koni Yellow's or Tokiko's. Or if your a broke foo like me KYB's.

If your strut "BROKE" you'd be riding on your tire man... the squeaking is most likely the strut though. Like DSC said, check for fluid leaking out of them.

If you do need to replace them, I get a good price on Koni and Tokico if you want some pricing, lemme know.

Shocks are an easy job to if your a DIY guy. If no bolt heads break off then it shouldn't take more than 4 hours (I did my last one in 30 minutes with the knowledge I had).

I just checked them and there is no leaks of any kind. I also pushed down on my car and it pops right back up so I dont think my shocks are blown. But what else could it be? Now it seems like new again, my tires dont look flat anymore.. this is really strange

well the squeaky can be the tire rubbing the inner wheel well, i had that for awhile on my GC's till I raised them again, now its gone, but it only happened when I made sharp turns or hit dips, but not bumps.

i had a funny squeek, in essence it was due to the fact that rather than make the COILOVERS level i made the CAR level by measuring fender gap... the suspension was racked, since adjusting it to the coilovers its gotten way better.
