Default Purchased a 2kSI

Ive been looking @ it for about a week now, has a carbon fiber hood, remote start, pager alarm, basic headunit, infiniti front and rears, 2 mtx 10's, mtx amp, eibach sportlines, some aftermarket lip, aem sri, and some greddy muffler. Has 87k about to roll over to 88, Si blue, has a few dings/scratches but not many and not to noticeable. Interior is in good condition. needs an alignment, a new rotor, and a power steering pully. Im used to Torqy cars but i need a reliable daily driver with a little get up to it. Punching it from a dead stop it pulls decent but from a roll its a dog. I paid 5500 and i forgot to mention the AC isnt working due to a hole puncturing the line. Overall I think i got a pretty good deal. Give me some thoughts.....

Sounds like you got a good deal. Get everything fixed and it will be as reliable as you need it to be.

How about some pics?

Click on "Go Advanced" underneath the reply box. There, just add an image link to the picture of your choice.

The Si is a nice car. Too bad you have to rev it to hell to get it to go anywhere...

i noticed it had a maintenance needed light or something like that, it has like a red square next to that, does it light up or how do i know when to get it serviced?? Also i have been looking on a few sites for an AEM cold air extension and cant find one, im beginning to think they only sell it as a whole in CAI, and short ram...*sigh*

That little square is either green or red, you can push the lil black button with a key and it will turn green again its not like a cel. From what i've been told it is just a way for honda dealerships to make money, go in for a local check up basicly... i could be wrong soo if i am some one please corect me ... thanks

so is there a site that sells a cai extension for aem?? I am getting tired of searching and it seems either you buy it as a whole cold air or just short ram.
Also The owner told me he used castrol oil im assuming 5-30, is it worth using the mobil-1 ?? (20 bucks for 5 quarts) I am already using mobil-1 on my 240 and the srt-4. I hit vtec occasionaly but im usually pretty easy on it. I may take it to the track or catch a few runs with friends but i really dont think mobil-1 is necessary and from the threads i have been reading it doesnt seem like 50% of the forum doesnt either. so go mobil 1 or stick with the normal oil brands like castrol, valvoline??
