:slap:

Give your friend a slap on the back of his head. There is a reason for them. Unless he doesn't mind his lugs vibrating off and then his wheels go "WHEEE!"

Not much control with 1 wheel and tire missing.

yeah, know the benefits and what they prevent. i wouldnt drive witout them on. my friend was just complaining that he was charged for somthing that dosnt make any difference in balance or lug tightness. i told him that its more of a preventitive measure.

uhhuh...your friend
Theyre not a preventative measure, like insurance. They physically center the wheel on the hubs.
When I bought my car, the previous owner didnt have any - over 65mph the car would shake and the wheel would want to jerk out of my hands. Got a set and bam, fixed.
Theyre not expensive to begin with h:

And I'd rather be safe than sorry. But let him run with out them. They give you 50hp when you leave them off.

Well, I have a set on my rims and they were the actual cause of my vibration. As far as I know they are the correct size. They came with the rims. When I had them on, I would get vibration when over 60mph. I took them off and ran the car again. Back to stock smooth (more or less). So far so good as my rims haven't fallen off.

The rings may have been the right size for the wheels...but were they the right size for honda hubs?

I can't say for sure since that is what they gave me when i got the rims. Either way, it's all good now so I'm not gonna f**k with it.
