Default Dynamat

How hard is it to install dynamat? I bought two door kits to install and not exactly sure how to install it. I would think you just find a good roller and lay it down smooth where you want it and use the roller to smooth it out get all the bubbles out.....this method correct?

yep, and I used a heat gun. Pop all the bubbles, and leave no gaps in it. You need a wooden roller.

Yup that's what I used too. The heat gun also helps the adhesive stick better as well. The roller will help, is a great tool to have. If you don't want to shell out for the roller, you can use a roll of packing tape, but the roller is easier to use.

Does anyone think it makes a difference with regards to road noise. I had someone tell me that road noise doesn't go away but your midbass range will just sound better. Sounded like BS to me but I still thought I should ask.

i dynamated my entire trunk (i dont have subs but i will someday) and cabin noise from my muffler was reduced like 30% i would say. if i crack my window now its like night and day. yeah, it did make a noticable difference just by doing the trunk. now if you did all the floor panels and doors it would really reduce the noise i would say.

It is designed to keep outside noise out, and inside noise in, and resonates sound better. Makes the bass wave less static or something.

"4 times the damping power of other brands. eliminates speaker and panel distortion. ....Also stops vibration, rattles and squeaks."

I've been thinking about dynamatting my trunk, I do have 1 12" sub, but it's not because of that, I'd like to try to cut down on the exhaust noise in the cabin. That works well? The poster 2 up from me seems to have had good results, but has anyone else?
