hey, my first post here asking for help, so Ill try to keep this short and concise:

I was driving last night and my throttle stcuk open at full. i shut the car down and pulled over to check it out. I got under the hood and took a look at the throttle/throttle body. I flexed it (open/closed) several times and it seemed to be moving alright. I began to drive again, but i could tell that it was still sticking open just slightly, ie. the idle was at like 1800, not 500-600 rpm. After having this happen a few times I got under there again and actually adjusted the bolt on the throttle cable to give it slightly more slack. This seems to have solved the problem, but I was wondering if there were going to be any consequences. Also, the throttle still has the full range of motion, from full open to full closed now that I have adjusted it.

During the course of trouble shooting this, I also unplugged my cruise control at one point, thinking that could be the culprit, but it wasn't. i plugged it back in, cleared all my codes, but now the cruise will not engage. The cruise light on my dsah will come on, but it doesn't work beyond that.

Hmmmm.. Ok, well I guess ive got it worked out for now, but I dont know what to expect in the future. also, im kinda annoyed that my cruise isnt working now. im almost considering taking it in to a dealership.
