i jus bought unviersal bosch o2 sensors.. it was my first time doin so...i kinda made the wire alittle short and the blaack box where the wires connect are kinda close to the header... i use zip tie to keep it as far away as possible from the header to keep it from melting... i as wondering if the connection box could withstand the heat and not melt... so far i drove for about 30 mins and i checked up on it and it was hot but not melting....

 

How close are we talking? Try to get it atleast 1 inch away if you can (kind of hard to get any further away).

 

its about 4 inches away.. is that too close still??
