Failed Emmissions: OBD "Not Ready"
I have taken my 98 Civic in to be emmissions tested several times and the OBD always shows that NONE of the readiness monitors are set. According to a Honda mechanics advice, I disconnected the battery to reset the computer. I then drove the car over 100 miles on a couple different occassions, in all types of situations. I drove in the city, stop n go, on the highway, fast, slow, etc. Still none of the monitors are set. My car runs great, has good power, and gets 36+ mpg. Any ideas?

I had this problem. Just try something real quick, go out to your car and turn the air conditioning on. Then turn your car off and then back on, if the air conditioning doesn't automatically come on then it's probably the same fuse I had to replace. The 7.5 fuse (on my car it was 7.5) backs up the computer whenever you turn the car off, if it's blown (which is usually caused by aftermarket radios) then you basically reset the computer every time you turn the car off. It's very cheap to replace.
