u know the suction hose that connect from ur valve cover to the air intake.. what does this actually do? is it bad to take it off? and put a breather on the valve cover?

All that it does is allow the pressure on the valve cover to release somewhere and let the engine breathe. The hose sucks from your filtered intake pipe to the valve cover. You can just plug up the hole on the intake as long as you put a mini filter on the valve cover...

it just recycles the unused carbons from your engine back through your intake, i took mine off and put 2 breathers in the open holes.. fresh in the intake part and the rest just comes out...

PCV: Positive Crankcase Ventilation. It's there for a reason, keep it there, and it's better for the environment.

Right in most states you would fail emissions and/or if you were pulled over in California you would get a ticket.
