just tinted my taillights todai
i decided to go with the actual smoke tint spray from japan that they sell at most tuner shops. . .total was 27 dollars but the shop nearest me is pretty dang expensive
the surprising thing was. . . it was worth it!
it went on reall smooth, no runs or anything . . .. and it dried very nicely too. i didnt need a clear coat because it was as shiny as the stock red part of the tails!!
seriously this stuff is way better than wat testors makes. the spray is real clean and since its transparent i painted over the orange part of my tails it still lights amber. excellent!

When I washed my car I would just becareful around the tint.
The box is about the size of your palm. They also sell HUGE sheets which is like $12-20. You could get that and have lots extra
This is the way I did it:
1. Wash the back of the car
2. use windex on the lenses
3. spray water on the lenses
4. cut a good size of tint to cover both the trunk lens and the corner lens
5. spray water all over the tint and lay the tint on the water of the car
6. Squeegee all the water out as best you can, making sure you have no air bubbles.
7. Use a hair dryer and rag to completely dry
8. using as sharp razor just out the tint around the curves BEING VERY CAREFUL!!!
9. Then use Elmer's glue on the sides so the wind doesn't catch it.
All DONE!
