Default CEL code 14: IAC valve

the title says it all.. i was just gonna go clean the valve tommorow but i wanted to know if this is something more serious then i think.. or could a loose o2 sensor trigger this?

if the code is thrown usually it's not just dirty but malfunctioning. when it's dirty it usually doesn't throw the code, but instead just idles weird. Check your wiring and connection with the IACV

I think the o2 could possibly trigger it. I was throwing this code and the o2 code (88, I think?) and I replaced the o2 sensor and reset the ECU and the IAC code went away.

I don't see anyway your IACV and O2 sensor could be related. Check the wiring and if all else fails swap it out.

i looked at the o2 sensor an the connector was loose so i snapped it back in.. then code 41(primary o2 sensor) was being thrown so i reset the ecu and it went away..
