Default plug installation

just wanted to know if there is anything specific to remember before i install new plugs (NGK) into my civic. i dont have a special torque wrench that most sites speak of, so i am using a regular ratchet with the required plug socket. would this socket be good enough, because most say that you shouldnt overtighten the plug. whats a good rule of thumb? once again, i appreciate any and all tips...

some people say to hand tighten them, and then turn them a 1/4 turn with the rachet. i just tighten them until they are tight.

hand tighten them to make sure you dont cross thread em or anything, and then tighten em w/ a rachet a turn or so till there tight. if you can start your car, theres a good chance you can change your spark plugs.

yeah using some anti-seize compound is a good idea, especially on a aluminum head
