Default Wing questions

Is there a wing for the coupe that goes over the top of the rear windshield? Kinda like the wing on the hatchback. but for the coupe, so that it kinda follows the curve of the roof.

Hmm.....maybe Im missing something but its not one of those aircraft wings that I have seen bolted to trunks and even people's hoods. It looks like the litttle duckbill that goes on the rear window of a hatchback. I think there are some BMWs that have something similar. Something like this

but for a coupe.

most people consider anything thats form>function rice. (ie a wing/spoiler on a FWD car = pointless, if anything it hurts you more than helps you unless your doing some wicked high speed intense cornering and need traction at the rear wheels) ignore people saying that it looks stupid, and go with your own style.

i dont know where to find one.. you might be able to adapt a hatch one for coupes? *shrug*

good luck.

my opinion:

rice is when you add parts that add to the "form" (appearance) of the car, and DEGRADE the "function" (speed).

so.. fog lights dont add or take away function, but they give it form. they wouldnt be rice. a wing in back.. completely useless its just dead weight. this is where it adds to the "form" (makes it look nicer, to some..) but if anything its taking away from "function". that would be 'rice'. (to me)

im a function > form guy. i like speed while keeping a clean look. some people like lots of extras to look unique, which is fine.. but many of the extras just take away from the cars speed while making it look "good". hence, form > function.

that wing looks pretty pointless back there.. it doesnt give any downforce. its not nearly as bad as those 2 foot alluminum slabs of metal bolted to a trunk.

i think it looks okay, but by my definition its rice and i wouldnt use it.

if you like it: put it on. its defintely different and could look good (depending on how the rest of your car flows)
