fender rubbing...
how do you know if your tires are rubbing on your fender?? i dont hear any rubbing at all or feel anything rub...and i dont know if the scratches on my tire are from my fenders or from the previous owner of the rims...i got some racing hart type c's 17x8, 205/40/17 tires and i dont kno the offset of these...looking at the top from it, it looks like the tires peak out vertically from the fender...anyone kno the offset of racing hart type c's...i been told i got the rare version of the racing hart type c's with the ddc lip which is made by Work so i dont kno if it might be different from other type c's...and im thinking about lowering my car 1 1/4 inches

do you have any pics? as for lowering, look into eibach pro-kit springs. they're pretty cheap and good quality. they offer about a 1.25-1.5 drop. that's what i have on my del sol. good luck.

I may have the same problem, I know I will rub if I take a downhill 90deg. corner too fast and dip my front end down too much. The wheels I got were off of a VW so the offset is +.
I also want to know how to modify the fenders (kinda widebody style), to accept wide wheels. I love the setup I have now, and when I lower my car, I dont want to have any issues. So what would be my best bet?
Is there a company that makes aftermarket fenders, that are basicly stock looking but have a higher more flared out wheel arch?
