Tranny Suggestion
Okay, so i have a 93 Del sol Si that I'm going to drop a 95 b18b into, obd1. All i need right now is a tranny. I was going to go JDM b16 cable tranny, but then i hear that driving freeway is a real pain in the ass with that tranny. (about 5000rpm, in 5th gear, while going 50-60mph) Then i'm told that cable trannys wouldn't fit into my car. (?)
So my actual question is, what kind of tranny should/can i go with? cable or hydrualic?

the ls tranny has VERY long gears = slow acceleration but good gas consumption
the gsr tranny has a mix of long and short (1st and 2nd are matched with ls).
the b16/type r tranny has all short gears. Expect to be way up there in rpm's on the highway (I hate riding w/ my friend and his b16)
You do however, want to buy a hydro tranny - NOT cable. Your car is made for hydro so to do cable you'd have to make/buy a conversion kit...to which there is no point in doing.
