Default 99 dx sway bar question

ive done a search and some say the dx has the holes predrilled and some say it is just the ex and up models. can anyone confirm or deny this? are there predrilled holes or do i need to drill my own?

would you recomend drilling your own? install looks simple enough.

thanks in advance!

You don't drill your own. You get the LCA's from the models that had the front/rear sway bars (EX, Si, 94-01 teg)

You can look under your car and see if they already have holes in the LCA.

Also you can't use the LCA from the Integra since they're different.

Im not the most knowledgeable, but im assuming the LCA is in every car, but some have the predrilled holes and some dont. can you point me in the direction for a good setup? im not trying to be lazy i am just having a hard time trying to figure out what exactly is needed.

i was using nopi e-catalogue to look up the sway bars. heres the link. http://www.nopionline.com/nopistore/...20Civic%201999

would any of these do?

No...
96+ all have the same rear lca and subframe basis (although the si has reiforced bits on the subframe). Go crawl under your rear bumper and look at your lca's...you'll see a blank hole for the sway bar.
You dont need to buy anything other than a bar, endlinks, D-brackets(maybe - bar depending) and something for reinforcement (ie asr brace or a beaks kit) depending on the size of the bar. If youre just going to use the stock si set, 13mm, you dont need anything for reinforcement. Larger than 18mm and you will definately want something, or you will tear the subframe.

What bar are you looking at using, anyway?
