Default Help with non-OEM indash mp3 player installation

I want to install a Kenwood MP-625 mp3 indash receiver into my Honda CIVIC, LX, 1998, 4Dr Sedan with keyless entry.

Following accessories are enough for installation:

1) METRA Ltd 70-1720T Honda Keyless Entry Vehicle Harness

2) METRA Ltd 70-1720 86 - 97 Honda / Acura Vehicle Harness

3) METRA Ltd 99-7891 96 Honda Civic Radio Install Kit

I am using the instructions given at the followin site.

http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Honda/Civic.html

Anyone has any suggestions or comments. Please advise.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

No, I am still trying to understand.

I am not sure if I need to buy both 1720 and 1720T.

you'll need the keyless entry harness. otherwise, you'll lose keyless entry cuz i beleive the keyless entry unit is in the stock stereo unit. hang around for a while... i saw somethnig about this posted recently actually.

I might have to buy 1720T to keep keyless. If I am buying 1720T then do I need 1720 harness. From the install dr, I might not need 1720, if I am buying 1720T.

Thanks

i would assume you only need the 1720T. you can call best buy, or circuit city or something and ask. they should know for sure.
