Default searching for a hole in firewall

I'm installing an amplifier in my '03 civic EX and have not been able to find a hole in my firewall to send an 8 gauge power cable through. I have spent way too long searching to come up empty handed. Does anyone know where I can find this mythical gateway, or will this involve drilling?

every car that i have ever seen or heard of has little rubber popouts (usually a couple, at least 1 on each side) that go through the firewall and you have to push something thru to get to the interior

check just below and to the right of the battery. or on the driver side infront of the gauge cluster area. those seem to be available on every model civic so far

Even if you have to drill it's not hard at all, just make a small hole and watch out for anything you could possibly hit, done it plenty of times.

I drilled a hole for my 4g amp wire and a small ass hole for my vtec wire and went to like an ACE hardware or something and they have grommets.

I've taken out the glovebox and footwell panel but can't find anything so far. Behind the glovebox is extremely congested. Do I need to remove the dashboard panels too???

... it might be drillin' time soon

It shouldn't be that hard. Try looking on the drivers side firewall. There are already holes set up for the OE foglights. You shouldn't be having such a hard time finding a hole or taking apart the dash.
