Default i think starter is going!!!

I have a 98 Honda civic ex and i think that my starter is going. When i go to turn on my car it takes like a couple of seconds for it to turn on usually it turns on when i turn the key but now it takes a couple of seconds. I was just wondering if could be something else, how long i have before it goes if it goes and if it is hard to put a starter in ??

What do you mean turn on? Does the engine crank a few times and then start as opposed to just roaring to life? How much fuel do you have in the car?

I wouldn't attribute that to the starter unless you can hear that the starter is having a hard time turning the engine. The only job that the starter has it to turn the engine, after that it's up to your fuel, ignition, and compression to get the car to start.

It is also well known that Hondas tend to take a few cranks if the fuel level is low, hence my question - FYI.
