Default Civic A/c not working

On way to work I just noticed that my 1999 Honda civic AC is not working. I press the green button and no cold air. How would I know if i have a blown compressor or a freon leak?
thanks

There is no way you can find out unless you have a proper tools to do that.

Yeah a shop that is certified in recovery and recharging needs to look at it. If it is a leak and they say its too small to detect make sure or request that they put DYE in the system. This will help them locate it later down the road.

You can always have someone check to see if the compressor kicks on when you press the button. That will narrow the problem down. If it doesn't kick on, always check fuses first!
