Default jackson racing or vortec?

any input on which is better?...cons pros etc.....looking to supercharge my d16, a friend of mine is selling his jrsc for $700///

if it's in good condition.. grab that up for the 700 bucks!

I heard JR is nothing but trouble since they sold the company. Warranty claims and help with parts has just gone downhill. I think it's a great deal but I'd just be weary of dealing with the new company.

yeah he just took it off his car, running fine, i would like to run maybe 6-8ibs....on a stock setup..i have i/h/e on a z6.well maintained...do you think it would cause any damage?

thats usually a very safe setup.

how many miles are on your motor?
& have you done a compression test latley?

I dont think Vortec makes superchargers for the D series :thinking:

i got about 75k on the engine.........is the kit easily installed or is it a B****.?

Hardest part is bending the power steering lines out of the way. If you don't have power steering even better.

intake mani. nuts on the under side of the manifold are a bitch to get to while the engine is in the car.. just coz of lack of space to work!
