AEM Intake bypass valve
i just have a simple question i need info on. i was looken for a CAI bypass valve and found a "no name" one on ebay for $13. Do u think the "no name" one would work just as fine as the high priced AEM one?

it's possible that it could work fine for a while.. but look at it this way. would you rather take that chance (blowing engine dude to water getting sucked up).
-OR- spending the extra $60 bucks on something that you know works well & a company that stands behind their product.
Your choice! :dunno:

Funny thing is I've been running cold air intakes since they first came out back in 1996/1997. I drove through a hurricane on the way down to NOPI Nationals in 1999 with no problems.
As long as you don't submerge your filter you should be fine. And in order to submerge your filter you have to drive into a lake.

......its just an inline filter. The aem one cant be that much better, if at all than anything no-name on ebay.
We're not talking about a main filter, just something that works when the other is wet enough to create an easier place for air to enter.
Both will work the same and will both look silly on the intake arm
