i have a 1999 civic ex 2-door (auto).

when i drive i notice that the BRAKE light(red) goes on for a while(about2 minutes) then turns off for a while , the it turns on again.

what could be causing this ? is this a major problem? how do i fix it?

 

Does the car come with a factory alarm? I really don't know but it was the fist thing that came to mind.

 

it had a factory alarm but i had an aftermarket one put in , the aftermarket one broke (all i did was disconnect the brain).

 

Check your brake fluid level.

 

yeah check ur brake fluid... the light usually turns on if ur on a hill and ur low on fluid...
