omg... 18's... :uhhok:

Anyway, I ran Falken Ziex's. Just put a new set of 215/40/16's on today, actually. 360 tread rating and they do well in all weather situations.

the guy at the local shop said he could give me some toyo proxes fz4 for $100 each. Is this a good brand? Are these good tires? Is it a good deal?

The Toyo Proxes FZ4s and the Toyo Proxes 4 are all season tires with a little light snow traction. I have the 4s on my 00 Civic Si and I am actually pretty impressed with them. Haven't driven through snow yet.

But the ES100s are a summer only tire just to give you reference. That means they should be grippier in the summer, but of course will suck in the winter.

I am suprised no one has asked these questions....

Where do you live (what is the weather like)?
What do you plan on doing with the car (daily driver/does it see track time)?

That will tell you what tires you need to get.

Good questions!!!! I live in Memphis, TN. Yes, i am a daily driver, and my car won't see track time. I was thinking of taking the rims off during the winter time and putting the stock back on for winter, but this isn't official yet. So, what do yall think? I'll probably get the toyo proxes.
