okay guys, i just got my car back. the d16y8 is in along with some new headers. my car does not sound the same as it did before the swap. there is one noise particularly that concerns me. whenever i accelerate, there is a sound that can only be described as the sound of shaking un-cooked rice in a can. it happens only when i accelerate, and in the car, it sounds louder than my cat-back exhaust.
anybody know what that sound could be ??????

 

Sounds like the timing is off.

 

Have somebody hit in someway the cat´s??? or in the swap the techpeople did it??? maybe it´s the stone-like inside them????

hehe thats a funny quote at 4am. usually when you swap motors the engine sounds different cuz its a different engine
