Default B18 shift points

i'm putting in an aftermarket tach, since my stocker redlines @ like 6600 or so. i'm gonna put in an autometer Cobalt 10,000 rpm tach. where should i set the shift point for the shift light?

which b18, and i can't tell you where to shift, but i can tell you redlines if you tell me which b18 you have.

well in that case, you dont need to buy a new tach because the b18a/b wont rev beyond 7k or so.

lot bad. for some reason i was under the impression that it revved closer to the same rpms as the GS-R (wich is what i wanted)

won't do you any good, unless you plan on replacing it with a gsr.

i was gonna get a gsr originally, but nobody seems to have a decent one for anything under $800

the only gsr engine you can get for $800 is a longblock. and you might still have a hard time finding one then.
