sol knowledge?
i found a decent sol for what seems to be a decent price ($4k, about 90k on the motor) i havent found out the trim level, and other details about it, im still waiting for it to pass inspection so the dealer will let me test it out. i was wondering if the SirII would drop in with just the motor/tranny/ecu/dizzy considering the vtec sols came stock with the b16, or if i would need to purchase the full swap to make it work. also, what other swaps would be recommened, considering ease and price ( H22??? i know its a pain for civics, figure itd be the same for a sol but i dont know much about sols at all)
i know i cant make up my mind on what chassis i want to pick up and what i want to do, but i figure i might as well learn as much as i can about all of them, and know ahead of time

If is does come with a D series though i wouldnt be so quick to ditch it. You could boost that bad boy and get more horse power per dollar then if you were to spend the money for the b16 swap. Also if the Sol isnt a vtec modle im pretty sure you could talk the price down a little bit, 4k depending on the year is on the high end for an S or Si. The H22 is just as much a pain in the ass for the Del Sol as it is for the civic, if not more so because it just doesnt have the nose of an EG. The Del Sol is a great platform BUT fair warning, it is kinda the red headed step child of the honda world, and the after market following is not as strong as it is for say a 5th gen hatch or something, just something to keep in mind. If you have any other Sol specific questions feel free to hit me up on PM or AIM at twogr84you04, im sure either me or my brother can answer the question
