Default Electrical problems on 99 Civic EX

My sis in law has a 99 Civic with a few electrical problems. A year ago she took it to a Honda dealer after her battery died. They replaced the ECM because they said it fried the battery and after that the...

1. Speedo does not work.
2. AC only works on high.
3. Wipers only work on high.

All of the above were working before she brought the car to the dealership.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm. I'd try the fuses first. A lot of the time it's a fuse. Those could have gone too if the ECU did.

Thank you for responding. Where is the fuse box located and which fuses should be checked?

Under the drivers side dash. It's usually labeled "Fuse" and has a flip down pannel. Then on the inside of the pannel it has a diagram of which fuse is where and does what. Then under the hood near the fire wall, there's another fuse box with the diagram right on the cover.

It wouldnt be the fuse if only some options aren't available.. I'd try and take the car back to the dealership and tell them what happened... but it seems you waited too long and you'll probably have to pay.

I agree. I can't believe she drove off with it in that condition.

I'd take it back to the dealer.

Great, the fuse box cover w/ the diagram is missing. Can anyone identify which fuses could be out to fix the problems listed above. The car is a 2000 Civic EX Coupe, not a '99.

Thanks again,
David

Take the fuses out one by one and look for one that is blown.
