I tried searching but did not find anyhting on my particular problem. I replaced the battery on the remote becuase it died and no light came on the remote. so after I replaced the battery, the light on the remote stays on and does not unlock\lock the doors. Has this happened to anyone else? Do i have to reset or reprogram it or is the remote shot? thanks for any suggestions to fix my problem.

I was told by someone that you need to reprogram. I personally don't know how to do it.
