Yes and he will be close to maxing those out generally with that much boost. I maxed out my 550's on my old b18a on about 11psi. The smart thing to do with boosting is to buy once.

what trim t3/t4 would I want to look into getting? i was told two different ones....48 trim and .60 trim?

Do you mean t3/to4 60 trim with a .48 a/r turbine housing? Cus thats a pretty good turbo for the street. Very fun, not too laggy. Full boost at a little over 4k.

t3 60 trim.
i have been running 450s and i run the piss outta my car and they do just fine at 10psi

Why pay for 440s now, have them run up high in their duty cycle, and have to buy bigger ones later? Thats as stupid as modding d series motors. 780s will idle fine, leave room for future mods, and keep the duty cycle lower.

Once you turbo your car you're going to blow your motor or want to build it later. Might as well spend the money once.

Actually i've added the only good information to this thread. If he wanted some haggard d series backyard setup i'm sure you're the guy to go to. :fawk:

Oh and ditune fast-turbo.com has good prices on Precision turbos, stan will hook you up.
