Hey boys, I have a slight well...no....big problem here. I recieved my P28 ECU for my engine. I have a problem with my harness that was built for me. I was supposed to get an OBD2A harness but I recieved an OBD2B. I had a friend of mine that is fairly knowledgable build me another one but no go. I don't know what to do I need to know the difference between the two pin configurations (2B vs 2A)? What pins are needed in others words for my 98 B16B harness and also the pin out (what is necessary for the P28 side to verify things are correct)

humm i'm feelin your wiring pain as i've went through similar problems before. Looks like you might ahve to go through the pin-out diagrams & make your self a chart. as much of a pain in the ass as it may be! It would definatly be somethin nice to add to the Online Resources Sticky.

Why did'nt you just use your stock harness and buy and converter harness to fit that ecu?

has the p28 been chipped to run dohc .you can pick up the harness from jdmdohcpower@aol.com . also you might want to look into a hondata system
