Default Turbo ?

Hey, I have been looking into boosting my D, I want to do this instead of geting a B, because I have 2 D16Z6 motors, one has 135k, and is being rebuilt, and the other has 120k and is in my car now.

Im looking into puting together my own kit, I wanted to do this a while back, but I lost interest.

I want to know what the best trim would be for my D16, and would like to know more about Engine Management Systems.

I am looking to spend no more than 1500 on parts. Can anyone help me out?

well with my D series kit im using
14b turbo with hf manifold
DSM 450s
Uberdata tuned for 10psi
JRC 6in front mount
Plx-m300 wide band
Autometer phantom series boost, egt, and oil pressure gauges
2.5in charge pipes
2.5in custom down pipe with flex section
1g DSM bov

The 14b is a really good turbo for the D series because it will give you a good even power band, BUT its kinda a pain in the ass to work with. The compressor side is on the drivers side and this leads to a whole mess of ghetto rigging. You could use a t3 for a simpler install, or if you planning on building the internals a bit, and throw more boost, you could consider a t3/t4 but your gonna have turbo lag out the ass

:slap: 14b is an eclipse turbo, its off a 1g eclipse, talon, or Laser. You could also use the 2g t25 but your gonna get better numbers from the 14b if your looking to use a mitsu turbo
