Default Brake caliper help

Just replaced my pads, I tightened everything and then turned the car on to see if the brakes were good. The wheels didn't move (still jacked up) and when I loosened the top caliper bolt, they would spin... is that normal? Should I not tighten them completely since the new pads need more room?

Did you grease the slide pins? Also, make sure the rotor is not cocked, possibly by debris on the hub or back side of the rotor.

You mean the retainers? Yea, i greased them and the brakes pad ears, the squealing is gone now, I just had to leave them tightened and let it settle.
