Default Throttle Bottle stupid problem

So yea Im out with the TB cleaner, I take the small straw and put it in the hole of the can. Now its ready to go. I then open the butterfly, spray inside and all is well. I take my rag and clean out the stuff on the outer edges. I then put the staw which is attached to the can way inside the TB and click the button. What happens next?? The straw flies inside the TB and I yelled out loud. I then got the allmight CLAW and tried to get in the TB to get at the straw and absolutly no luck. After a few more tries the damn staw goes down the hole. I got really pissed and just started the car after I put everything back together and to my luck... no problem!!!! Now I'm jumping for joy

BTW... I guess my TB is clean as a whistle cause there wasn't any black smoke comming out the exhaust. I use redline fuel treatment and I guess that helped alot.

Anyway.. anyone know if this straw will cause any issues in the future?

Yeap. Especially if the straw melts and hardens in a valve...whew....damn man. Get that shit out of there.

got any idea how someone can open the ThrottleBody so i can pull out the little straw LOL

It is not just within the TB cause that would be nothin to worry about. Its down in the hole. Would you know how I can safely take it out?

wrap duct tape around a long extension or something (sticky side out) slide it in there & try to grab that shit.. if all else fales.. take u'r Intake manifold off & get it out.. & then put u'r Intake mani back on.. it's going to be a pain in the ass if u have to take that off but honestly .. u'r gonna destory somethin if u leave it in there!

you need to spend the time to take stuff apart, or buy a new head later.

I gotta say that is one of the most ignorant things you can do when your working on a car, do something wrong and forget about it til later. Spend the time to get the damn straw out, if you took the time to clean your t/b in the first place.
