hood latch broken
I have a 1995 Civic EX and my hood latch wont latch, i tried spraying some WD-40 on it thinking it might be rust in the latch but that didnt help. Has anyone else had this problem, or know a solution to it, besides buying a new latch?

the latch assm is about 17$ dealer and with string take about 30 minutes to replace.
