Del Sol W/ a B16A2
hey guys,
I have a del Sol w/ A ZC motor and it only runs a 16.1 @ 86 MPH. I think it is to slow so im going to put a new engine. I was thinking about a b16a2 or a b18b1(LS). I was wandering what kind of 1/4 mile time i would be runing w/ the b16 and the LS.
Thanks,
Lambert

say this.. you'll be faster then a 16 for sure.. b16 SHOULD put that car around the 14.9 or 14.8 mark with a good driver same with the b18b.. however.. vtec makes a difference....... just think about how you wanna spend your motor.. you got 1200.. by a ls motor, drop a nice header/intake/exhust some other tweaks you'll be faster then a simple stock b16..
Well I came to a decision on my car. I'm keeping the del Sol the way it is and bought a 1990 Civic Hatch w/ a GSR head and LS block. Nice car, has all the body and interior parts. Took it up to the drag strip and ran 14.1 w/ the clutch slipping. So I have my nice car and my race car so i'm happy now. Soon I will put a Stage 3 clutch and some 50 shot of NOS on it. Hoping to run mid or low 13's.
