Default What Honda seats bolt on to 96-00 Civic

The 96-00 Civic seats are the most horrible seats I have ever sat on. I personally prefer all of 89-01 Prelude seats, are they direct bolt on to 96-00 Civic coupes? Del Sol seats are alright too, but I don't know if they are direct bolt on.

i think the del sol's are a bolt in seat. and everyone seems to love them. im in love with my rsx seats but they are not bolt in's.

you can always just go aftermarket with 96-00 rails

No I do not like aftermarket seats, I am looking for comfort not style. In fact I have a pair of Sparco Milano at home but I'm not gonna put them into the Civic. I like Prelude seats the most but not sure if they are direct bolt-on.

no factory seats from honda is a direct bolt in for the 96-00 civic. in order to make it bolt in you would have to swap rails and the only seats that can be accomplished in doing so is the 94-97 del sols(very comfy seats), 92-95 civics(nasty), and 94-01 integra(great seats, available in leather too). you can bolt in s2000 seats as well but this requires swappin the seat pan and mechanisms.

as far for prelude seats, that i do know is not a direct bolt in, altho i have heard of ppl swappin the seat pan and mechanisms to make em work. have fun.

i heard bride's were very comfy. and they are not very flashy at all especially in a black.

but its your choice. del sol's seem to be very popular and are inexpensive

I like that idea. Also include what rear seats bolt on as well (or at least fit with minor modification.). :goodjob:

I'm pretty happy with the stock seats in my EG... But I replaced the seats in my Dakota because they suck balls. Check out www.cerullo.com for some HIGH quality and comfortable seats. No ebay specials here. I've got the XR3 seats in my truck.
