Can the stock seat belt be used with racing seats? How would the buckle section be attached to the seats?

 

when i had my tenzo r seats and my Bride seats there was no where to mount the seat belt, you might have to get some racing harness. What kind of seats do you have?

 

I do not have the racing seats yet. I am currently doing my research on getting them and the question about seat belts came up.

Has anybody fitted the stock seat belt to any racing seats before?

 

I used to have a pair of Sparco Stars. I didnt want to use a racing harness since I use mt back seats. The Sparcos had no attachments for bolting on the stock belt buckle so I just went to Home Depot , bought an L-bracket and fabricated it to the side.

Whats weird though is that in my friends 92-95 civic he had a place to bolt up his buckle.

One more thing , Sparcos dont come with any kind of hardware to bolt it together.
