Default Clutch Alignment.....

Anyone knows what happen if the clutch is improperly aligned? I'm trying to diagnose my clutch engagement problem.

Sounds like a failing clutch to me.

Alignment doesn't have anything to do with engagement. The clutch is aligned when the pressure plate is mated to the clutch disk so that everything is straight so the input shaft of the tranny will fit right through the disk and pilot bearing when the tranny is put back on.

i have a hard time engaging in 1st gear, when i realeas the clutch it studders-vibrates the car, I was thinking first it was motor mounts. But now it seems like its because the clutch is slipping a lil during engagement. A friend just told me it maybe an oil leak somewhere in there? I do notice there is oil on the bottom of my tranny.

Did you have the flywheel resurfaced when you replaced the clutch? If not that could be your problem.

An oil leak wouldn't have an effect on the clutch engagement.

That is what I am thinking. Was the clutch properly broken in? How new was the clutch when you noticed this?
