Default Question about wheel width??

I am planning on getting new wheels. I have decided to go with Rota Circuit 8's or Rota Slipstreams in 15 inch. I am confused on what width to get? I am lowered 2.5 inches.

If I get The circuit 8's in 15's which size should I get?

15 x 6.5 +18 8h x 108

15 x 6.5 +38 8h x 100

If I get slips in 15's what size should I get?

15 x 7.0 +35/+40 4h/5h x 100/114.3

15 x 6.5 +40/+45 4h/5h x 100/114.3

I'd get 15x7" with 40-45mm offset. You would be better off with 42-44 but it's not an option.

So with these:

15 x 7.0 +35/+40 4h/5h x 100/114.3

What does the +35/+40 mean and what does the 4h/5h mean?

+35/+40 is the offset.

4h/5h means that it can fit both 4 and five lug vehicles.

At a drop of 2.5" go for wheels that are 15x6.5" with (a minimum) +40mm offset with a 4 x 100 wheel lug pattern.

How would a person go about measureing the offset on a set of wheels?

I got TSW blades, and I got them for free so I didnt really care what the offset was, and I noticed they stuck out a little more than my stock wheels, and now that I am going to lower my car, it does not look like they will tuck under the fenders. I dont know much about lowering my car ,(never messed with suspension before). So could the offset on my wheels I curently have be too much to lower my car?

Do you happen to know the offset of the stock Si rims?

I thought it was 45mm. But I could be wrong.
