Default f*cked up day...

Recently did my motor swap (like 3 days ago) today went to go run errands.. and by the way keep in mind this is mid afternoon, blazing sun no shade... Wearing nice white casual clothes...

2 miles from my house i notice the temp gauge rising like no other. Pull over found out hose on the intake manifold busted. the hose was crap i could even pull it apart with my bare hands. borrowed the hose on the valve cover and then went on my merry way. 500 feet later same thing, temp rising like crap, had to yank my ebrake to get into the gas station just so the temp didnt reach critical levels, found out ALL the coolant leaked out.. So put coolant in. drove to local store and fixed it.. then drove 20 miles and on my way home at 80 mph my shift link stablizer f*cking fell off with the shift link washers.. On the side of the road again waiting for a friend and parts.

Today was a total bust... Got dirty, didnt get to do my errands, and over all i feel like crap...

I can understand that!!

One morning when I woke up in mid winter. I got in my car to goto work. Flipped on my headlights. One burnt out! (PIAA's too! $80 a pop) Thought it might just be a loose connection so I went to pop the hood and the hood latch broke. So needless to say, to replace the damage caused in about 20 seconds costed me about $200!!

I replaced it with the valve cover hose that connects to the intake

Not at all, the swap lasted almost a week, we pretty much lagged on everything for some reason. Werid that random things are happening. I think ill carry coolant, oil, tools,a jack, random bolts and a few hoses for the next 2 weeks just to be safe. on the up side, sold my rims for 600 bukks today... Shit happens

Ah alright.

Well I dunno if its just me but when I put a motor in I typically change all the rubber pieces (hoses/belts/etc) just because if its an imported motor , across seas the conditions LOVE eating rubber (seasalt etc)

And yeah, it would be a smart idea to carry some incidental equipment with you for a little bit until your swap builds some confidence with you. Belts+hoses+fluids+all hardware needed to install said items, and you should be good to go
